What is Google E-E-A-T?

Often written as E-E-A-T, Google's fundamental guiding principle is to write content for a human audience, not for a machine, search engine, or algorithm. Based on these principles, Google will serve ranked search results.

Another way to look at it is that your content has to earn its place in a search result.

If Google were human, it would look at the search intent of the query and the geographical location, then look at its database of indexed pages and ask itself which page deserves to be served in response to the intent of the search query.

What does E-E-A-T stand for?

In response to a search query, Google wants to present the most relevant and reliable information that it has added (Indexed) to its vast database of website pages.

Google earns revenue from advertising and needs to earn the trust of its advertisers by upholding its mission to organise the world's information and make it universally accessible and useful.

If search results were irrelevant or unreliable, advertisers wouldn't trust the Google platform, where most of us depend on the quality of search results. This is why SEO and content quality matters.

Did you know Google has only indexed approximately 4% of the pages available on the internet?

Many website owners don't know that their entire website or certain pages have not been added to Google.

Are you ready to E-E-A-T?
